Neighbourhoods/Downtown

Yorkville & Bay-Bloor

Luxury condos, boutique buildings and Victorian row houses steps from our Hazelton Avenue office.

What it's like

Yorkville was its own village until Toronto annexed it in 1883. Today it's the city's best-known address for luxury shopping, galleries and dining, while its side streets keep their small-village feel. Our office is at 28A Hazelton Avenue, so this is the neighbourhood I'm in every day.

The homes

Mostly condos, from boutique buildings on Hazelton and Cumberland to towers along Bloor Street and Bay Street, plus Victorian row houses and semis on streets like Hazelton, Scollard and Berryman.

Getting around

Bay, Bloor-Yonge, St. George and Museum stations are all within walking distance, connecting Lines 1 and 2. Most daily errands can be done on foot.

Parks, schools and shops

Bloor Street West's luxury flagships, Yorkville Avenue's restaurants and galleries, and the Royal Ontario Museum are all here. Village of Yorkville Park, with its giant granite rock, and Ramsden Park offer green space, and Jesse Ketchum Public School serves the area.

Working with me

Your Yorkville Realtor

I'm Rebecca Himelfarb, a Broker and Partner at Forest Hill Real Estate. In 2013 I co-founded our Yorkville office at 28A Hazelton Avenue, and I've been helping Yorkville condo and home buyers and sellers for more than 17 years. I closed over 50 deals in the past year. My clients have left me 94 five-star reviews.

Condo value here depends on the building as much as the unit: its reputation, the maintenance fees, the reserve fund and any work that's planned. I help buyers read the status certificate before they commit, and help sellers show what sets their building apart.
